I conceptualized and art directed a campaign video for Shiseido's collection of makeup brushes. This asset was launched in tandem with the global launch of the new complexion makeup line. The objective was to highlight the different brushes and how they should be used with various liquid and powder textures. The hero brush in this video is the iconic Hanasubaki Hake, with its unique shape and striking red bristles.

 

The long-form 30-second version was also reduced to 15, 10, and 6-second versions. These cutdowns were used across all of Shiseido's social platforms globally and on Shiseido.com. ​ I art directed this shoot remotely with the incredible team at Peter Shafrick studio in Toronto, Canada. Using a robotic Bolt camera system and lots of creative rigging, this shoot was very technical and meticulously planned. Thank you to the entire Shafrick team.
